Custom Line: five new launches in July and September.

October 16, 2025

Three new Custom Line Navetta and Custom Line Saetta yachts have entered the water at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona.

Ancona, October 16, 2025 – It’s been a very positive summer for Custom Line. In July and September, the brand launched five new yachts at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona: three in the Navetta line and two in the Saetta line. This brings the total number of launches this year to 16, a result that confirms the shipyard’s dynamic production schedule and the brand's international appeal, chosen by owners mainly based in the MEA area and EUROPE.

The first of the summer launches took place last July 15, when the twenty-sixth hull in the Saetta line, Custom Line Saetta 106’, entered the water. In the subsequent months, the shipyard went on to launch another four boats with lengths from about 30 to 40 metres, all at ceremonies attended by the yard’s employees and external contractors.

The second launch, on July 17, was the fourth Custom Line Navetta 38 – one of the brand’s latest made-to-measure yachts – a displacement model that has a gross tonnage of 299 GT. With a length of 38.76 metres and a beam of 8.00 metres, Custom Line Navetta 38 is the result of collaboration between Ferretti Group's Product Strategy and Engineering Departments. The exterior styling is by architect Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors are designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. Working alongside the project team was Custom Line Atelier, the team of in-house architects who supervise every stage of every project, from defining the spaces to the style and made-to-measure details, translating the owner’s aesthetic preferences into concrete design solutions and walking them through every process right up to the handover. The owner family played an active role in every stage of the customisation process, clearly slanting the design towards a yacht for family use, with a convivial atmosphere. This Custom Line Navetta 38 was created with a fresh and dynamic character, maximising liveability and particularly the outdoor spaces, which are designed to be shared with children and friends. The aim was therefore to create continuity between the interiors and exteriors by adopting the same materials and coverings, with waterproof fabrics used for the free-standing furniture so that every area can be enjoyed in swimwear. The layout pursues this design philosophy in the form of solutions that increase the functionality of the settings and make them more suited for everyday life on board: from the shared walk-in closet, to the replacement of the vanity desk with larger storage units, right through to the introduction of household appliances, including a mini-fridge for ice cream, with the aim of creating a more convivial experience. The decks are the ultimate expression of this vision: the upper deck features a lounge with a maxi sofa and a space for sport and mindfulness activities, while the Sun Deck becomes a hub for socialising and relaxation, featuring sofas seating 10-12 people, a bar unit with a snack and grill counter, and a Norwegian enclosure for protection so that the outdoor areas can be enjoyed in the cooler months too. The idea was to recreate a true home on the water, where the sea itself becomes a frame, a horizon and a daily spectacle.

The launch of the 14th Custom Line Saetta 120’ last July 24 is the result of a design effort involving the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, supported by Custom Line Atelier for the interiors. With a length of 38.36 metres and a beam of 7.65 metres, this yacht combines a sleek silhouette with styling that effectively mirrors the owner’s vision. Designed for the European market, the yacht stands out for refined yet inviting settings, with a new main lounge layout that inverts the positions of the dining area and living space, so that the large table seating 10 now precedes the lounge. The interiors, decorated with a palette of bright neutral colours, are styled with a simple, elegant approach. The made-to-measure master bathroom features a pair of Calacatta Vagli Oro marble basins in the centre, framed against a wall clad in Crema d’Orcia, and beside them a vanity table with an opening mirror and incorporated pouf; the generous shower cubicle is on the starboard side, with the sanitary area to port. The fine materials chosen also include Canadian maple for the floors, columns clad in tobacco-coloured leather, and a tailored nubuck leather bed headboard inspired by sophisticated interior design trends.

On September 4, the thirty-sixth Custom Line Navetta 33 took to the sea at a ceremony attended by the yacht’s captain, crew and dealer. This made-to-measure creation is the result of collaboration between the Strategic Product Committee – which handled the exterior styling – and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, whose architects and designers created the interiors with the support of the Custom Line Atelier. With a length of 33 metres and a beam of 7.52 metres, the strikingly elegant style of this yacht’s interior design is defined by the juxtaposition between the depth of the dark hazel-coloured oak floors and the softness of the pale truffle-coloured nubuck leather cladding the columns in the main lounges, in a chiaroscuro interplay that punctuates the space. This carefully orchestrated contrast generates a distinctive contemporary visual language, amplified by surfaces that extend perspectives and volumes. The moods are further enhanced by interplays of light and shadow created by the ribbed walls in the main deck lounge and the master cabin, where the featured ribbed surface introduces a note of rhythmic sophistication. The bathrooms are decorated with marble in pale shades, such as Calacatta Oro and Travertino Bianco, giving them an airy feel and a sense of class. Completing this textural lexicon, the master cabin stands out for the headboard panelling upholstered in a soft touch fabric that adds an exquisite sensory and tactile dimension. Moving to the Sun Deck, the bar has been repositioned across the beam of the boat, which frees up the space needed for two large facing sofas, in a layout that encourages conversation and points up the area’s social and hospitality functions.

A new Custom Line Navetta 30 was launched on September 9, after a configuration process to which the owners – loyal Ferretti Group customers – contributed enthusiastically, from the initial technical choices to the definition of the layout and the finishings. The twenty-fifth hull in the brand’s displacement line was a joint design effort by the Product Strategy Department, which produced the exterior design, and the Ferretti Group Engineering Department, along with ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel for the interior architecture and architect Filippo Salvetti for the exterior styling. They were supported by the interior design experts at Custom Line Atelier, who liaised directly with the owner – based in the EMEA area – to ensure that the yacht is a true-to-life portrait of the people who live on her. Featuring a contemporary and elegant mood, this Custom Line Navetta 30 draws on a design vision that revolves around pale, natural colour shades, brought to life by brighter accents provided by the burgundy finishings and the mahogany. The main woods – pale oak and titanium-brushed Canadian maple – are in a dialogue with gloss and matt lacquers in neutral colour shades, building a balanced and original language of materials. The main customisations were changes to the layout of owner’s walk-in closet, the creation of a niche fitted with shelves in the port side guest cabin, and a bar counter in the bow on the Sun Deck, all features that reinforce the project’s functionality and bespoke approach. The choice of freestanding furniture, chosen for both the interiors and exteriors, is consistent with the overall style of the yacht, giving the spaces a personal feel that is perfectly in tune with the owner’s needs.
