Custom Line Navetta 38: the third hull enters the water.
July 17, 2025
Custom Line celebrates a new launch in Ancona, at the heart of Ferretti Group’s Superyacht Yard.
Ancona, July 17th, 2025 – Custom Line Navetta 38 continues its triumphant march with the launch on 20 March of the third hull in this displacement line. The made-to-measure yacht, appreciated for her timeless elegance and design excellence, entered the water at the Ferretti Group Superyacht Yard in Ancona during an intimate and emotionally charged event attended by the owner family – based in Europe – and all the shipyard’s employees who worked on the project.
For Custom Line this is the fifth launch of the year in the three months from January to March, providing further evidence of the shipyard’s remarkably dynamic production schedule.
With a length of 38.76 metres, a beam of 8.00 metres and a gross tonnage of 299 GT, Custom Line Navetta 38 is the result of collaboration between Ferretti Group's Product Strategy and Engineering Departments. The exterior styling is by architect Filippo Salvetti, while the interiors are designed by ACPV ARCHITECTS Antonio Citterio Patricia Viel. Working alongside the project management team, a key role was also played by Custom Line Atelier, the team of in-house architects who define the spaces, style and customisations desired by each owner, translating their aesthetic preferences into concrete design solutions and walking them through every step of the process right up to the handover.
Right from the very first stages in the project, the owner family was highly appreciative not only of the bespoke care lavished on every detail of Custom Line Navetta 38, but also of the harmonious combination of sophisticated aesthetics, maximum on-board liveability and a real connection with the water. Passionate admirers of Ferretti Group, the owners decided to make their new boat – they already own two megayachts built by the Group – even more representative of their own personal style, with a special focus on the interior design. The aim was to maximise available space with stylistic and functional solutions that enhance liveability and comfort on board.
The stand-out design choices include the mirror panels fitted to the central section of the ceiling in the Main Deck lounge, which are designed to make the area feel even more open and spacious, while maintaining the understatement and elegance of traditional forms. With the same aim of optimising the space available and the natural light, other mirrored surfaces have been added along the side walls and in architectural details such as the mouldings and ceiling inserts. The extensive floor-to-ceiling glazing completes the effect, ensuring an abundance of light in the interiors and establishing visual and sensory continuity between the outdoor and indoor spaces, in perfect harmony with the marine environment.
The customisation of the galley was one of the owner’s most important requests. The work here focused on the depth of the cupboards, with a view to optimising the functionality of the operating areas, but without affecting the aesthetic balance in the space. It’s a choice that reflects the desire to turn this area into a focal point for conviviality and socialising on board, made even more inviting and atmospheric by natural light flooding in through extensive glazing that overlooks the sea and wraps the galley in reflections and atmosphere.
Designed to meet versatile cruising needs for large groups of guests, Custom Line Navetta 38 features materials carefully selected for their durability and resistance to wear, without compromising on elegance. One example is the Botticino Semi Classico marble in the master bathroom on the Main Deck—a material that combines understated elegance with structural strength and is used for its durability.
The interiors are designed around a simple yet sophisticated colour scheme, where shades of beige are in dialogue with boldly contrasting mocha and brown tones, creating a balance between elegance and textural depth. Rounding off the visual balance are natural materials – including teak, oak and leather – that add warmth and authenticity to the interiors. Wallpaper featuring soft, luminous tones points up the vertical surfaces, helping create an atmosphere of understated refinement in perfect harmony with the made-to-measure style of the Navetta 38 line.
